How does the Veda describe the journey of man? And see man?

1) The battle between light and dark. The yajna in this sense may be seen as the invocation of devas or beings of Light and establishing them in one’s own body

The battle with the dark is also with that of duality or ignorance and limitations of ego. The devas fight for the seeker as allies and personalities: it is my humble opinion that the personalities of the devas are also the divinized personality of the growing Rishi which is how the devas are often depicted and seen: as individuals or entities in the universal manifestation, in the space between pure self and vyaktitva

2) Adhvarya: or the Journey (adhva is the straight path) which also means the Yajna without violence. The journey of the seeker maybe described across the ocean in a ship or Rocky Mountains, Adri

3) Arya or the self refinement and becoming noble. Ari- is to dig, Arya is the ancient ideal of self possession and development. An Arya is the one who has refined himself or herself and become worthy of the devas

Thus, Man or Manu the thinker is the grand warrior, the traveler, the self-realizing one. This is the Vedic ideal
