The human body is not simply a physical body; it’s the material organization around the Divine Center. Only human beings can connect with the Divine through what Sri Aurobindo calls the Psychic Being which connects to the Divine like a cable connects to a generator.

The function of an office where one can read the files carefully and with concentration has great merit. Spending one's best time and best energy there leads to right judgement and appropriate decisions. Administration means that and not moving about all the while like a tourist.
Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, President of the party, and the most prominent MP are the four power centres in the politics of a State. So there is constant tension and struggle for reinforcing influence. Access to the central leadership is flaunted as the crucial factor.
My life in the last century was spent in the secular atmosphere whereas this century has seen the dominance of Hindutva discourse. Two other influences the Western and Sri Aurobindo's form the four pillars. Integral in my circumstances would mean reconciling these four dimensions
Mythology trivialises philosophy. Sri Aurobindo relies upon the Vedic framework for formulating an evolutionary metaphysics that is in consonance with science. He also integrates it with practice and religion so that All life is Yoga becomes a translation of All this is Brahman.
