Better to follow bad laws honestly

So the cops in Hyderabad have shot all the four accused in #PriyankaReddyMurderCase.
I see and hear how so many women and men are already cheering the "instant justice."
What a sad day when the rule of law is so brazenly violated and, yet, we can do nothing but watch helplessly.

Problem isn’t that the process of law is faulty or takes forever and ever. Problem is the lack of clarity in our minds when it comes to the laws. The same process worked while the colonists were around. Stopped working when they left.
We never really reconciled the laws we were lumped with, with principles we accept. Which was a big mistake. It’s fine if common wasn’t totally acceptable to us. We should have argued and introduced elements from whatever dharma Shastras we wanted. Instead we turned dishonest.
Government is supposed to be working on replacement for IPC and CRPC. Let them work on a new constitution as well.
I feel it would be better to follow bad laws honestly than to follow good laws dishonestly.

Dogs and cats are the most vicious killers of wildlife. They are worse than even humans.
Human companions (owners, for those who don't recognise animal rights) who unleash their dogs in wild areas are being criminally irresponsible.

Let us stop this deterioration of Dharma. Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah.
If our ancestors didn't have respect for wildlife, there would have been no wildlife left in the three biodiversity hotspots of India. Let us protect this sacred heritage.

Term #HumanRights has been misrepresented the acts typically deemed "crimes against humanity," including genocide, torture, slavery, rape, medical experimentation, & deliberate starvation is denying #HumanRights to the victim, not to the perpetrator.

Abstinence from onion / garlic is not exclusively a brahminical ideal
This abstinence is strong among staunch Vaishnavites - regardless of varNa
Many ISKCON ppl abstain from it (some of whom may not even be Indian)
Even among brahmins, Vaishnavites likelier to abstain afaik

Unbelievable venom poured on Nirmala Sitharaman for harmless banter before an elaborate reply while many get away with crass and cocky remarks. This precisely is the troll behaviour which some in the media find great exception to but keep indulging in themselves

I think Odiya (Marāthi too) has several connections with Telugu and Gond languages (both Dravidian) that may be extremely ancient. In fact, Telugu and Gond languages are living proof that Indo-Aryan and Dravidian language families were at some point together as one.

Reviving DVG’s Splendid Vision of Writing Indian History, wholesale falsification of Indian history was one of the key pillars that sustained the national deception called Nehruvian secularism and facilitated India’s economic plunder https://t.co/nNzqX6KyNq via @dharmadispatch

History, if it should serve its purpose of stirring emotion, must first of all be exciting. Is it impossible to be both truthful and warm-hearted, both factual and moving? Reconciling them is the art of the true historian - DVG
