Many Hs are very attached to the counterfactual that the Brits engineered Partition. Whatever the facts presented to them, they keep repeating it. I'm asked to consider their emotions. OK, indulge them. But do find a way to reconcile this w/ the battlefield need for cold realism.

Madam,
Discussions on historical facts are not about rationality or alternative perceptions. India was partitioned because of Muslims and British tried their best to prevent it till the last hour. That is the reality. Rest are only negationism to exculpate Muslims and falsely blame the British, as most Indians especially Hindus are thoroughly brainwashed by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s Education System against British and in favour of Muslims.
I have said all that I had to, and I do not foresee any meeting ground between us on the topic. Hence, I intended to close the discussion as far as I am concerned, in order to avoid any acrimony.
Hope you understand.
