Wrong. Algebra was known to Hindus, Greeks way before Islam was born.
Attached is the snippet from Bakhshali manuscript dated to 3rd century CE, which had problems involving arithmetic, algebra and geometry, & mensuration.
And Dr @CKRaju14 has proved it well that Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi copied from works of Indian Mathematicians. It’s said so because Indian mathematicians wrote problems and solutions exactly the way Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi wrote way earlier than him.
Also, he stayed in India and learnt a lot from Indians. Many other mathematicians today have proven that Arabs copied works in algebra from Indians.

They have brain anomalies of the amygdala and pre-frontal cortex which means they do not emote. They see emotional responses and those who experience emotions as weak. Is it possible to change or ‘cure’ someone who has an exceptionally powerful conviction of their superiority?
The problem is, most people ARE too naive to figure out their deception and to understand how they operate. The intricacies and complexities of their manipulations are too hard for most people to process and accept. Even when targets/victims see through them, most others don’t.

No, Khwarizmi DOES NOT acknowledge his Indian debt in the Quote I cited. He does not acknowledge Indian debt anywhere in his book 'Algebra'.
